lyrics
(:07) I guess it’s time to leave
Time to say “goodbye”
And don’t forget your keys
(:35) Headed down the road
Peacefully, nice and slow
Take the long way home
For I have nowhere else to go
And all night to reach my goal
(1:18) I’m inside the car
Waiting for the light to change
Idling in my lane
When out of nowhere he appears…
(1:42) High beams on, he’s on my ass, slowing down, he will not pass
Turning, swerving, every which way I can, can’t lose what looks like a Chevrolet van
Banking left, banking right, will I survive the night?
(2:10) Slam on my brakes, he overcompensates
(2:35) Slips, slides, flips, and that fucker begins to fly
Crash, burn, flames seem to light the sky
(2:54) Watch the fire as the blaze intensifies, surely, he must die
(3:10) In the distance sirens start to sound
In an instant, karma has been found
(3:27) Perhaps I’ll stay a little longer, to see the embers glow
A consequence of anger the news so often shows
(4:15) Feel my rage begin to grow!
(4:24) Close my door to leave
What choice have I but to flee?
Apply this rage equally, apply it equally
